The newest four-part documentary is a branded content series featuring trending city businesses, such as The Fit In, Teranga, Franca, and Malai. The small business owners showcase how they’ve innovated and thrived throughout the pandemic, and highlight how Squarespace has made building a website and running a business possible.
The films were shot, edited, and finished within a one month span in order to make sure that it could air on MSG during this year’s first round matchup between the Knicks and Hawks in the NBA playoffs.

In the beginning of 2013, 20-year-old John Glaude weighed 360 pounds and significantly lacked self-confidence, but he would make a conscious decision to lose weight and stick to a plan. Within two years, the El Cajon, California native never expected to lose 180 pounds or become a viral sensation for his weight loss efforts, though he's done both.

What began as a joke five years ago has grown into promising wine careers for music producer Will “Tell” Davis and rapper Sadat X, co-founder of the influential group Brand Nubian and successful solo artist. The Brooklyn duo became a sensation in 2009 after Davis started posting web videos of Sadat’s laugh-out-loud funny and often expletive-laced wine reviews in what’s now called True Wine Connoisseurs. A year into the series they released True Wine Connoisseurs, their signature wine label which is now sold in stores across the nation.

Capturing the essence of Brooklyn, The Nets, and their Fans, this video is told and seen through the eyes and perspective of Brooklyn’s youth. Their diverse, restless, optimistic and full-of-life nature parallels our film and the team in so many ways, capturing the hopefulness of a season and the love of Brooklyn.
Directed by Justin Barnes and Brandon Kuzma, this film transcended the normal, to journey through Brooklyn in a fast-paced, stylized manner. No hard cuts or abrasive jumps in time and location were envisioned, so the final film flows from scene to scene in a fluid and harmonious way, with clever transitions done in and out of camera that take viewers on a non-stop journey that continuously builds in energy.
A big part of the success of this project was in how the video was treated in post. Animation, Typography, and VFX seamlessly were composited into the live action so that all worked as one. Billboards were brought to life, players were composited into reflections, and drawings blended into live action.

Given the explosive and unpredictable nature of the NFL games the project was set up to keep the subjects fluid, thus allowing CBS to highlight the most pivotal players or matches in a given week. With this in mind, the topic for each segment is selected 5 days out, we were tasked to design, animate, edit, score and sound design the piece prior to game-time on Sunday.
While football graphics tend to be skewed toward testosterone and in-your-face 3D, we have steered away from that and treated this project more like weekly independent films. Juggling styles, tones, and their animated techniques has allowed us to properly spotlight each week’s story, while also allowing them to juggle the pressures and perils of creating on a tight deadline.

To celebrate the ‘re-launch’ of their 90s classic candy, Twix Cookies and Creme, Twix collaborated with The Shoe Surgeon for a custom-made Air Jordan Retro 1 inspired by the new treat.
Starring UCB Talent Dan Fox in both roles, this comedy spot is an absurdist take on two sneakerheads as they compare their most recent acquisitions — a Left or Right Twix Sneaker. Dan performed each role, in different clothes and hairstyles, allowing Versus to double-down on the same-but-different comedy.

To promote Adidas’s new collaboration with street-wear brand Alltimers, we created a series of on air and social spots featuring their signature tagline “Perfect for Everything”. The quirky and fun campaign plays into Alltimers devotion for not taking itself too seriously while creating a collection of pop-culture pastiche, inspired by classic jerseys, inside jokes, and a modern light-hued, primary-color theme.

The damage done by “dipping” tobacco may lead to needing a mandibulectomy, a scary surgery that requires upwards of 87 different tools. With this in mind, FCB and Versus partnered with The FDA to create a campaign that leaned into the lifeless, industrial, and scary nature of these tools, with the aim to educate them on the effects of “dipping” tobacco.
All the pieces of the 87 Tools campaign worked together to create a single cohesive brand and experience. The social videos work with the video content pieces and the banners are in line with IG stories, etc. Versus went in with the mindset that no piece is an extension of each other, but rather are all fully considered and working as one.
This approach also applied to how we built the look and feel. We wanted the story, cinematography, design, edit, and audio to be working as one to create a full cohesive experience. The design doesn’t drive the cinematography, and the visuals don’t influence the audio, instead they are all considered as one, and influence each other. When we approach a project in this thinking, we know that great things happen and we blur the line between the parts of the project and experience it as a whole, working together in a totally realized campaign.
